Hello, I'm Jennifer. I have 15 years' experience in Charlotte area special needs school. I recently retired at the young age of 48 and moved to Wilmington to be closer to my family. I would like to offer my skills for one-on-one instructions and caregiving. My experience working as a special needs teacher's assistant includes working with many children of whom had autism spectrum, Rett's syndrome, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and other chromosomal deficiencies. I have an Associate's degree in the Arts and Associate's degree in Early childhood Education. Also I am CPR and CPI certified. With my CDL class B driver license, I drove the school bus and I understand wheelchair hookups and assistive lifting. My extensive experience with the school system gives me an understanding of tutoring and assistive technology needed for your child's advancement in their education.
