About Jennifer

Hi my name is Jen and I am a retired Speech and Language Pathologist. I've worked with children for almost 30 years of all ages. I've also worked with special needs children for the past 20 years (13 of the 20 in the school system). My job entailed teaching speech and language services with children one on one and in a small group setting. I also worked with teachers in their classrooms. I evaluated students and then wrote goals for them to accomplish over the year. I also worked closely with parents, teachers and administrators to help accomplish these goals. I loved being creative with the kids to help them be more aware of their speech and language disorders. Every session would read books, do an art project and play games.
