I came to the U. S. last year and so far, I have been working as a retail associate. I have a background in caregiving when I was in Hong Kong working as a domestic helper for 4 years. I like caring for seniors because I remember my parents when we were in the Philippines. They both got a stroke and I took care of them for years until they both passed away. I'm looking for a job that I know I will make a difference in someone else's life. I like caring for people, especially the elderly population since I am most experienced in that area. I started caring for seniors when I was back in Hong Kong in 2000. I worked as a domestic worker and caregiver at the same time for four years. I went back to the Philippines due to my mother had a stroke and we need someone to take care of her. My father had a stroke also after a few years and during that time, I took care of them, along with my other sibling for years until they eventually passed away.
