I am currently in graduate school at Emerson College to get my Master's in Communication Disorders. I am on track to become a Speech-Language Pathologist by May of 2025. I have 4 years of experience as a Personal Care Attendant for MassHealth. I worked with a boy who has hereditary spastic paraplegia, epilepsy, and sensory processing disorder. My main responsibilities were playing with him, doing chores around the house, attending appointments with him, helping him use the bathroom, getting him in and out of chairs/equipment, performing his daily stretches, and tracking seizure activity and food/water intake. Last summer I worked doing ABA therapy and running a social skills camp for kids ages 3-13 with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
