About Jenna

I like working with kids because I love helping their brains grow & being a safe space for them! Teaching & caregiving are natural qualities I've always had. I started working with kids when I was about 10 years old. After taking a Red Cross babysitting class & becoming CPR & first aid certified, I would put up flyers at different gas stations advertising help with babysitting. At 10yrs old I remember babysitting a child with a heart condition, a child with autism & a child fluent in sign language with two deaf parents. These experiences helped me realize at a young age how much I truly enjoy caring for young children, especially special needs. In my spare time I like to hike, read, do anything artsy, go to the gym & spend time with my two girls (ages 3 & 10) and our family dog. My skills include being trained in Montessori-style teaching, experience with adhd/autistic children & being CPR/first aid certified.
