About Jenna

Hello! I am Jenna and I have worked with children for about one year now. Right now, I am recently employed as a Customer Service Manager in Walmart, but I would like to branch out into the field I have been studying in. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am continuing my education by going to Eastern Connecticut State University for my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Psychology. I am very fun, reliable, and flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of the families and the child. I support the importance of play and learning through their senses, dramatic play, and the environment around them. With that being said, I love the idea of exposing children to nature and the community. When I was finishing my Associates, I completed my Student Teaching Practicum which is where I went into the field of Early Childhood and was able to teach in a Preschool Setting. There I interacted with children, created developmentally appropriate experience plans, and developed relationships with the staff and families. I documented over 200 hours of field work. Overall, I am very passionate about children and have big dreams of becoming an educator!
