Jemmelia cared for my father during the last months of his life. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She is always on time and very responsive to phone calls/texts. She never called out and was able to cover additional shifts on short notice. Prior to Jemmelia starting, I was my father’s sole caregiver for years. It was very stressful for me. When she started, she brought me immediate relief. I was able to completely to decompress when she was with him. By the end, I could not function without her. What is most striking about Jemmelia is her level of compassion and emotional strength. It’s hard for me to articulate the level of care and support that she provided to both my father and my family during the last days of his life. She refused to leave his side and stayed with him in his room for almost four days straight. She held his hand, stroked his hair, and talked him through the most challenging periods. He adored her. I know she brought him a tremendous amount of comfort. At the very end, she took charge of the situation and helped me and my family navigate through an incredibly difficult period. My family is extremely fortunate to have found Jemmelia. She treated my father with a level of care, respect, and compassion that was truly extraordinary. I don’t know how we would have managed his final days without her. We owe her a debt of gratitude.
