About Jayleen

Hi, I m Jayleen. I was a camp counselor at a sleep away camp upstate for 6 years. I worked with kids aged 7-18, but focused on the kids 7-10. I would arrange games, cookouts, activities, conversations, skits and plays, and individual work. I supervised activities like crafts, knitting, archery, canoeing, fishing, sailing, hiking, outdoor cooking and outdoor living skills. As you can see I have a wide range of interests with a special kind of experience with kids, which I believe makes me stand out. I'm also the oldest of five kids and helped care for my younger siblings while my dad was at work. Throughout middle school and high school I worked in my church nursery and babysat.
