About Jasmine

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I am 20 years old. I am a rising senior at Yale studying Neuroscience and French. I am originally from New Haven, but will be an intern in New York this summer, living in Brooklyn, and am looking for part time work from June to August. I love working with children. It is such an exciting privilege to establish connections with them, take care of them, and learn with them. I received my Red Cross babysitting certification in 2016 and have been babysitting ever since. In high school I tutored 2nd and 3rd graders in math, reading, and writing. I also spent two summers as a camp counselor, developing and implementing reading and writing curriculum along with fun activities for 9 and 10-year-olds. In college, I am a student teaching assistant on the threes floor of the nationally-accredited Calvin Hill Daycare in New Haven, helping facilitate their daily activities. It is one of my great pleasures to spend time with children and facilitate their learning and fun!
