About Jasi

I'd describe my personality as empowering, loving, and fun. I like working with kids because their person and insights on the world are refreshing and inspiring. Children are such bright lights and I love learning from them just as much, if not more than, as teaching them. I started working with kids when I was just a kid myself. I was a mother's helper at 9 and by 12 I was babysitting younger children age 5-8. In my teenage years I had a pretty steady set of clients that I babysat regularly. I became a mother at the age of 20 so in conjunction with my many years of caregiving, I have also been a parent for over 12 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time outdoors. I love hiking, camping, and going to the beach. Additionally, I love to read, I write poetry, I design clothes, I love to paint, I love cooking. I am generally a very creative person.
