About Janis

Hello, I am a healthy 54-year-old wife, mother and grandma. I have cared for children in my home and theirs, and I will always be careful to be a good guest while in your home. When I care for children, I always follow their parents' instructions. I understand that routines and schedules are important to a lot of families, and every attempt should be made to follow them. I have patient, laid-back, compassionate characteristics. For example, when my friend's 3-year-old granddaughter was left with me, she cried. So she and I sat and rocked and cuddled until she felt like playing. When my neighbor had her newborn grandbaby for several days unexpectedly, I felt honored to care for the precious child while her grandma had some rest.
