A "one month only" job became a 3. 5 yr journey that led me to St Louis where I became a live-in caregiver for 3 seniors all in one family. Since returning to Indiana in summer, 2017, these are my positions. 5/2018 - 7/2018. 3rd shift aide for a doctor's 70 yrs old wife with end stage ALS. Deceased. 7/2018 - 4/2022. PT companion for a now 94 yr old lady with severe dementia. 9/2018 - 11/2018. PT 2nd shift aide for now deceased 86 yrs old man with end stage dementia. 12/2018 - 4/2019. PT caregiver for now deceased Lewy Body/Parkinson's patient until she fell. She broke her hip while living with her son when she attempted to get out of bed. 5/19 - 8/12/19. Live-In for former 93 yrs old MIL. Divorced from her son for 27 yrs, I found myself back inside her family taking care of my kid's grandma, now deceased. 9/1/19 - 11/19/21 Live-in with a 95 yrs old now deceased lady w/moderate dementia; profound hearing loss. We bonded very well as "roomies".

Jan is such a sweetheart! She has been staying with my mother who has progressing severe dementia. I love the way Jan cares for my mom lovingly as a friend and an equal. Always treating her with dignity and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful woman to care for anyone's love one. We were so blessed to come across Jan.
