About Janessa

Hello! My name is Janessa, Here is a little bit of information about myself... I'm 24 years old and I am currently wrapping up my prerequisite courses at Clark College to apply for the Dental Hygiene Program with a start date of Fall 2025. My hobbies include hiking, softball, working out, and yoga. My background in childcare... I was introduced to the subject of childcare fairly early on in life due to my mother owning/operating an in-home daycare from 2003 to 2011. Although I was young, the daycare setting in our home sparked a noticeable interest of caregiving within me. As I was entering my middle school years, I began expressing my passion for the medical field. This passion lead me down a career path of obtaining my CNA license in 2017, taking/completing online courses to acquire my certificate as a Birth & Postpartum Doula/Early Childhood Educator/Breastfeeding Consultant in 2021, and obtaining my Dental Assistant license in 2022. I am also CPR/AED & First Aid Certified.
