About Jane

I'd describe my personality as calm, positive, and patient. I am an active senior, myself, and enjoy spending time with people of all ages, including seniors. I'm looking for a position that will give me a sense of fulfillment, happiness and companionship. I want to help provide the same in the life of the person I care for. I have not cared for seniors since I volunteered at a home for the elderly while in high school and I very much enjoyed the experience. It instilled in me an appreciation of a person's life story and his/her lifetime of experiences. Some of my favorite past times are reading, art, knitting, walking, gardening. I have a weekly free-spirited arts night with my grandchildren that we all look forward to. I am very dependable and committed. My skills include providing loving companionship, listening, patience, and keeping engaged with daily activities and experiences.
