About Janel

My greatest passion in life is teaching and child care. I was born in Germany and had the opportunity to explore the world growing up in a military household. I have experienced great success at school and my universities due to exceptional and unforgettable educators. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students and anyone in my care, whatever their abilities may be. Currently, I am studying for a doctoral degree specializing in business. I am also a rehabilitation counselor who specializes in children and students with mental and physical disabilities, rounding out my 10 years of experience working in childcare with children ages 0-13. I am CPR and first aid certified; I have been tutoring and teaching for 15 years in various settings - tutoring small and large groups, individual private tutoring, teaching internationally, rural, suburban, and urban classroom and home settings.
