About Janae

My name is Janae and I absolutely love working with kids! I am easy going, patient, on the ball and loving. They are so much fun to be around and being able to teach them new things and see them develop new skills is so amazing and rewarding. In high school I took 'early childhood education 1&2' where we had an actual preschool in our class room. We were responsible for preparing a lesson each day that included transitions from activities which were based on sensory, motor (fine and gross), cognitive, social, emotional and language development as well as preparing a healthy engaging snack. I loved preparing lessons with each child in mind and customizing it to a theme each day. I am very familiar with all things child development and I enjoy giving kids a structured routine and helping them learn and achieve new things. I began Respite care when I was 16 for a disabled teen who quickly became one of my best friends. I love caring for children of all ages and stages of life.
