About Jana

Hello! My name is Jana, and I have been working at a daycare center for the past year as a teaching assistant, caring for children from ages 2-10. I am searching for opportunities here because I will no longer have the availability the daycare needs while attending school in the fall. I want to continue caring for children for a few reasons. First, I truly enjoy it. Many of my greatest memories involve kids I've worked with or my three young siblings. Second, I am good at it. I can tailor my care to individual personalities and needs. Third, it prepares me for long-term career goals. I am studying Applied Behavior Analysis, a therapy that aims to improve specific behaviors and adaptive learning skills, usually those of autistic children. In addition to my personal experience caring for children, I have completed 24 hours of online training with the Childcare Education Institute while working at the daycare.
