About Jamila

Hi, My name is Jamila H. I'm a non-smoker. I love caring for the elderly, as I have done for the last 28 years of my life. I'm a recent graduate from Saint Leo University with an associate's degree in Human Services (Social Work). I can provide companionship, diet and nutrition preparations (also special diets: puree, soft, liquid, and low sodium). I will also do light housekeeping, run errands/shop. I have my own transportation. I've worked in both major hospitals here in Savannah, GA as a Patient Care Technician. I communicate well with families as well as the consumer. I have experience with elder care with normal abilities and different abilities: handicaps ranging from physical to mental, moderate to severe. I've worked in Neuro Intensive Care, Rehabilitation, Brain injury etc. I have over 13 years' experience working in the home health field, as well as in the hospitals.
