About Jamie

I'd describe my personality as joyful, compassionate, and patient. I like caring for seniors because they have such a unique perspectives and views on life. I enjoy their stories and being able to appreciate life with them. I'm looking for a job to grow relationships, friendships and to enjoy life together. I started caring for seniors when I was 17, just before I went to the Navy. I moved in with my grandparents and helped care for my grandfather when he went into hospice. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, puzzles, take my dog on a walk, tennis, volleyball, and any excuse to make a cup of coffee or tea! I've been baking lately and enjoying learning new recipes. One thing you should know about me is I am comforting person and tend to put people at ease. My skills include medical background that will help with any confusion from booking appointments, referrals, and medication lists. Great communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail.
