About Jamie

My name is James but most people call me Jamie and I am very passionate about childcare The vast majority of my childcare experience comes from my time working at Camp, a non-profit sleep-away camp in Upstate, NY. I worked for five summers starting as a Junior Counselor, responsible for a a group of 10-15 children between the ages of 5-15, and finishing my final three summers as Program Director, responsible for assisting in hiring and assembling the staff as well the the planning and implementation of the daily programming for all 300+ campers. I understand that asking someone to care for your child is the single most important responsibility a person can bestow. I also feel that it the most rewarding and most impactful work a person can do. I hope to work to someday become a writer, or a teacher, but at this time, feel the most fulfilling work I'll be able to find is caring for children. I hope you'll consider me.
