About Jamia

I am a current undergraduate student on a full ride at Bowie State University. I recently transferred to Bowie State from Xavier University of Louisiana were I was also on a full ride scholarship studying neuroscience with a double concentration in Biochemistry and English. I made the decision to come back home to be closer to my family when I realized I could become a doctor at any college as long as I continued to applied myself. I have been apart of many organizations including the National Honors Society of High School Scholars, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and have started my very own NeurodiversityClub at Bowie State. I was also awarded the Congress for global good award of excellence for my outstanding academic achievement, currently I am apart of Bowie states SRPP summer program.
