I'd describe my personality as gregarious, cheerful, kind I like tutoring because I enjoy working with young people and explaining concepts. I have just retired from 40 years of teaching science and miss working with kids I'm looking for a job that allows me to share some of the knowledge I have accumulated through my own education and experience teaching I started tutoring when I started teaching 40 years ago. Besides working with students in the classroom I also worked with them individually or in small groups during office hours. In my spare time, I like to read, go for bicycle rides, swim laps, and socialize with friends One thing you should know about me is I am a member of the LGBQ community and have been married for 23 years I taught biology and chemistry and am most comfortable with these subjects including some math. I am patient and good at explaining difficult concepts.
