About Jake

Hello! My name is Jake P. and I am 25 years old. First off, I love animals and love creating new relationships with pets of all kinds. I am exceptional at caring for pets, including feeding, walking, transporting to appointments, and of course cuddling! I feel as if I should explain a little about who I am and why I am interested in a pet care job! I graduated from Westfield State with a 4-year Movement Science Degree in Physical Education. I then became a licensed elementary school teacher, but then COVID started the same year I graduated. Not to say finding a remote teaching job was impossible, but the pandemic caused me to re-think my future. I have been a self-employed video editor, editing political adds and internet commercials, as well as some YouTube videos. I would love to add some income doing something I enjoy, especially if an overnight or early morning shift were available. I can work up to 12 hours a night, and I can work 7 days out of the week!
