Hi there! My name is Jacqui and I'm currently an undergraduate biology student! I've previously worked as a veterinarian's assistant (and veterinary technician assistant) for 1 year and previously have owned dogs my whole life. I also work part-time as a dog daycare attendant, so I'm used to all kinds of dog personalities. I'm comfortable with cats as well and can deal with fractious felines. I am comfortable administering medication if necessary, however will need to know the animal's comfortability and will not continue any administration attempts if I feel I am in actual physical danger. I've also previously interned in the Reserves and Quarantine section of an aquarium, so am equipped to care for any fishes.

I've hired Jacqui a few times for cat-sitting, and she's been wonderfully responsive, punctual, and good with my cats. She made time on short notice to come meet me and my cats before I was away for the first time. She's very knowledgeable about animals, and has no issues pilling (or even syringe-feeding) a cat. (One of my cats was ill, and Jacqui was one of few cat-sitters who seemed willing to take on syringe-feeding-or even just assuming care for a cat with special needs-with aplomb.) She's very mature, capable, communicative, and just all-around lovely to deal with. She remains my go-to pet-sitter. Highly recommended!
