Hi there! I am a CNA works full time in Hospice. 28 yrs experience, I'm confident as a caregiver. 5 years in a 86 bed nursing home, RI Veterans Home 18 yrs till moving to hospice. I've taken care of my husband's & several of my Coworkers family members over the years. I'm CPR certified, trained & experienced with dementia & Alzheimer's. I'm comfortable with equipment such as hoyer lifts, 02 tanks, nebulizers, etc. I can help overwhelmed families that don't know what to do with ideas, suggestions or advice from my 28 yrs working in the medical field. Because I work a 40 hour work week with hospice, I'm looking for a smaller job in the evening for my high rent. such as helping with someone who needs assistance with a bed bath/shower, toileted, getting into bed, etc but am open to hearing what your needs are and if I can help. I can provide references and look forward to hearing from someone who needs extra help w/ dignity, respect & light hearted humor when appropriate.
