About Iyana

Hello parents. My name is Iyana, and I am a full-time Instructional Assistant for a Public School District. I am a graduate of William Paterson University, with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. Currently, I am obtaining my Master's of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education degree as well. My subjects of expertise are ELA (English Language Arts) and Reading. I am grateful to share that I have over 5 years of experience assistant teaching in grades K-3 and 6-8. I also have experience working with students in Special Education/LLD (Language Learning Disability) classes. Since my childhood years, I always knew I wanted to become an educator, and my unwavering passion and dedication for the field of education have never left. Throughout the years, my passion and dedication flourished into the education enthusiast I am today. With the experience and knowledge, I have acquired, each student will leave each session feeling confident about their academic success.
