I have 10 years of experience as an educator in schools, arts organizations, and out of school time learning spaces. I am passionate about empowering children through choice, the arts, and nature. I have 16 years of babysitting experience working with all ages from new borns to teens. I have experience babysitting up to 6 children at the same time. I am BLS CPR, Advanced First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid certified. I am a caregiver who focuses on the needs of your child while having the maximum amount of fun possible. Ivy helped us out during a 2 week summer break for my 2 year old and she was a joy to work with! She was punctual, proactive and adored by my daughter. She took her on outings in the neighborhood every day and as they got more comfortable, drove to nearby parks to keep things interesting for my daughter. She was proactive in understanding what snacks to pack, what to prepare for lunch and making sure she had a hat and sunscreen when they were outside. They even made friends with another little girl who was frequenting the same parks! She has strong communication skills and would give me a recap of their day at the end of each day as well as make sure we were aligned on our plan for the following day. I would absolutely love to have Ivy back when we have the need again!
