I have over 9 years of experience working with children including at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, in a pediatric office and as an RN on the psychiatric unit at Cook Childrens in Fort Worth. I also have worked for Volunteers of America as the north Texas RN over the care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in group homes. In addition to my nursing degree I have a master's degree in music and love to sing and am a certified teacher in health science. I retired from FWISD in 2022 after health science in teaching career and technical education for 8 years.. I love teaching reading and grammar, am pretty good at math and have two master's degrees in music, one in piano and the other in church music and organ. I have been singing with the choir at Broadway Baptist for the last 3 years.
