About Ilana

A dynamic 28-year-old alumna of Tulane University, known for my gentle and caring personality, I thrive on fostering a nurturing environment for children. My childcare journey began at 13, encompassing roles from babysitter to camp supervisor and aquatics director at sleep away camps and day camps. My commitment to safety and education is underscored by extensive training in childcare, inclusion, and emergency response, complemented by certifications in lifeguarding, Public Safety/First Aid, Basic Life Support, and CPR. Drawing from my experience as a Wildland Firefighter for CAL FIRE, I bring a unique skill set in handling emergencies and resilience. I've supported over 45 families, including those with special needs or learning disabilities, offering tutoring assistance and homework help tailored to individual academic needs. I love pets and have extensive experience in pet care. I am a non-smoker, have my own car, and maintain a very open and flexible schedule.
