About Ilaisaane

I am passionate about helping people and very much enjoy working with elderly. In the last 13 years I have helped 6 different families care for their love ones. I have cared for an elderly gentleman with the Parkinson's disease. I made sure that he took all his medications and on time. I especially made sure that he was safe from falling and also that he got some exercise. I also helped with housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. I also helped three families care for their loved ones that unfortunately were affected by Alzheimer's disease. I made sure that they were happy, comfortable and still have some quality of life. I created some projects and games that they participated to help them keep their minds stimulated. I found out what their interests were and I tried to take them on outing to the park or the museum or even to the beach on a hot day. One of the ladies liked to sing and loved to be around people so often took her to family events like weddings or parties and she enjoyed every minute. I know that what I have been doing for the last 13 years made a different in those families' lives and that I think is the most rewarding thing to me. I care for people just how I want to be cared for and people around me find me very trustworthy because I am honest, caring and loving.
