About Ikome

I am an outgoing person who like socializing, I enjoy being physically active, and spend a lot of time in the outdoors, biking, walking the trails. I am also a very practical individual who like doing things with my hands such as home remodeling, art and crafts. I have spent many years taking care of my grandmother, father in-law, and the elderly in my community. I develop a certain patience and compassion for the elderly realizing that it is a journey majority of us will travel on. It requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude. In addition one need endurance and physical ability to support patents with certain tasks. Attentiveness and trustworthiness are qualities that makes me a dependable caregiver. I have assist patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, cancer, diabetes, Heart disorders, stroke, Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Psychological Disorders etc. Meds, personal hygiene/care, meals, mobility, Tansportation.
