About Hunter

Hi there, I am a second-year graduate student at Northeastern Illinois getting my master's degree in counseling. I am pursuing this because I enjoy working with and helping people, and I am looking for part-time work as I continue my studies. I live in the Wicker Park neighborhood with my partner and our cat. I grew up in Denver, CO, and I have a sister 10 years younger than me who I spent a lot of time babysitting over the years. I have also spent time as a volunteer at Heartland Alliance and Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, where I tutored kids of refugee families in English and math; and provided transportation, ran errands, and hung out with senior citizens in the Chicagoland area. I also a great companion to elders. I am open to a variety of types of work, and I'd be happy to share more about my background and experience!
