I spent most of the 2019-2020 school year working as a long term substitute. In other words, I was the sole leader of a transitional kindergarten (TK) classroom. During that time I was creating and implementing lesson plans geared towards engaging students, fostered curiosity and creativity with hands-on activity, met with parents/guardians/administrators to work with and resolve behavioral issues, implemented a distance learning plan aimed to reinforce daily concepts as well as introduce new material in an effective way.
