Hello, I'm Hope! I am a sophomore at Virginia Tech studying Political Science and History. I have had a few years of babysitting and child care under my belt, as I have been a counselor for a horse summer camp for the last couple of years. The camp is ages 6- 18, but most of the camp kids are ages 8- 12. There were different sets of kids every week for the whole summer, so I have interacted with many types of energy levels! With being a counselor at a horse barn it is my ultimate duty to make sure that they are safe and that they are having fun. There were many different activities to help keep them busy and happy as well as learn new things about horses. My favorite part about working with kids is seeing the smile on their face when they have accomplished something! When not at school, I go horseback riding, read, and play tennis. I am available to work weekends and evenings! I would love to meet you and spend time with your children!
