Hi! I love working with children and I have experience with ages 1-12. I was a camp counselor at North Shore Day Camp for ages 1-4 this past summer as well as a sleep away camp counselor at Camp Bernadette(NH) for ages 5-12 the summer before. Both counseling jobs have taught me skills such as potty training, feeding children, basic first aid, diaper changing, soothing small children, applying appropriate consequences, deescalating emotional outbursts, coming up with age appropriate activities, how to approach conflicts between children, creating and implementing a schedule. I really enjoy caring for kids and coming up with crafts or fun things to do with them. Early childhood development really interests me and I am always trying to learn more about what is best for children's emotional and physical well-being/development. I hope I can help out!
