About Hope

I am a 21-year-old college student with a heart for helping. I was the primary caregiver for my grandmother for 4 years. Currently I assist in the care of a woman with COPD. I am able to assist in bathroom assistance, shower assistance, meal prep/cooking, reading, driving to appointments, grocery shopping and overall companionship. I love listening to a good story or reading a good book. My grandmother was blind since early adulthood with Retinitis Pigmentosa and when she became older her memory started to become "fuzzy" especially in the short term. She also developed TIA (Mini strokes) so I know how to watch for warning signs. I am more than willing to help a family however they need, I know the struggle of having a family member just needing extra help as they age.
