About Honna

After having worked several years as a first responder and in healthcare, I took on a new roll as an "empty nester". The reality of the situation has proven to be somewhat disappointing. When I examined my life and asked myself what made me the happiest, the answer is unequivocally taking care of children. I was the nanny to the most wonderful twins. It's a position I found on Care. com almost 3 years ago. I am quite proud of how intelligent and rambunctious they are but oh how I will miss them! We moved from Tennessee to Connecticut in October. I am also a postpartum doula and have worked for several families in that capacity. I love reading, hiking, baking, crocheting, and caring for our animals which include (but is not limited to) dogs, cats, chickens, dairy goats, and bee hives.
