About Hina

I am an NYU student studying filmmaking and Child & Adolescent Psychology with a wealth of experience as an educator. I was a cram school teacher for elementary kids back when I lived in Japan. Additionally, I have experience as a private English and Maths tutor, and my most recent work experience is as a teacher at Aozora Community, a Pre-K and Kindergarten school for a Japanese community in Brooklyn. I have lived in 5 countries: the US, Japan, China, Belgium, and the UK. My cultural background often becomes a great stimulant for kids as they are curious to learn more about the world! I'd describe my personality as diplomatic, compassionate, and loving. I started working with kids since summer of 2020, during the peak of covid. In my spare time, I like to watch films, take photographs, and play the piano.
