I believe that being a personal companion and caregiver requires empathy, compassion, and active listening to each client. Every person has a story to tell, and every person matters. Just because extra care is required for day-to-day activities, it does NOT make that person less than anyone else. Each client should be empowered, feel cared for and be in control of their life choices to every extent possible. I personalize in empathetic care, catered to the individuals needs and personality. Being a personal home companion for seven years but also volunteering for a non-profit organization advocating companionship, I bring to the table a vast array of experience. I fully cherish everyone that I have had the honor of working with. I am not able to assist clients at this time that have physical needs which require heavy lifting.
