About Heather

I am a compassionate, caring individual with over 17 years experience working in social/protective services. I am highly skilled in identifying and accessing services/resources needed to support the individual's preferences and needs. Additionally, I have the experience of serving as POA for both of my own parents as they aged. This included coordinating/addressing medical/health issues, dealing with emergencies, and hiring/coordinating in home care services as needed. Doing this allowed both of them to remain in the comfort of their own home until they passed within a month of each other. It wasn't always easy, but it mattered and I was honored to assist them in their time of need.
