About Heather

Hi there! I have a long history of working with children of all ages, and I enjoy it above all else. I started off as a teacher's assistant in Compton before moving back to Fresno where I was a nanny for two young boys (ages 2 and 10) as I finished school. I was part of the family for 8 years before becoming a substitute teacher for grades PreK-12. I'm currently working on my MS to become a full time teacher. Pay as a sub can sometimes be unstable, which is what brings me to Care. com. Being a nanny has always been rewarding to me. I love being part of a family and helping parents with the roller coaster ride that is raising a tiny human. Specifically, I am a mommy helper that is there for emotional support from pregnancy onwards. Seeing the children I have "nannied" grow up gives me a strong sense of pride, and I love them as if they were my own.
