About Heather

Hello, I recently joined care. com (hence no reviews yet) and look forward to begin offering my skilled services to those in need. I have been working for the past 25 yrs until I made a recent major career change and became a Licensed CNA and Certified Medical Aide. This change was due to the diagnosis of early Alzheimer's in my mother in 2022. Luckily my father is in excellent health and is able to assist until the disease progresses. I began self educating myself about this horrific disease so I could understand my new mom and the world as she would be interpreting it. This became a gratifying life affirming change that I now wish I had explored earlier in my life. I prefer to work with an individual. I am CPR certified, reliable, empathetic, knowledgeable. I am currently working a very flexible position in a Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
