Hi, all! My name is Heather. I have moved back to Central Florida after being in New Orleans since 2015, and my husband and I run a handyman company. I am looking for Care work to supplement our income as we build our business. I have a degree from the University of Florida in English Literature, and I have worked professionally in insurance for 8 years and fine jewelry for 18 months before my move. Throughout, I have cared for kids and informed folks. My husband and I went through foster care training in Louisiana, and I have been trained in TBRI (trust-based relational intervention, Karyn Purvis Institute). We were deacons in our church in New Orleans before our move. My goal is to stand in and be the trusted adult when you cannot be onsite to do so, whether that means driving your kids to school, staying a few hours with your elderly mother, running your errands, or reading and writing tutoring for the older ages.
