About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather! I am currently available for occasional babysitting, and am vaccinated. I love working with kids, and with 8 years of experience have learned to work with a variety of different types of families with children aged newborn to 7, including infant twins. After leaving the non-profit sector, I've returned to nannying while I pursue my graduate degree. I know it's hard for parents to have to spend extended time away from their children, and I strive to give kids the same attention and love I would give my own. Families can feel confident their child is safe and engaged while they're away at work, or enjoy overhearing some silliness while working from home! Some favorite activities are to read, make art, and go outside on adventures! Modeling emotional intelligence through patience, empathy, and curiosity about others is also very important to me as a nanny.
