About Heather

I have been working with children since college when I was a chauffeur for 4 years. I have experience working in the community sector with children in adaptive programming for inclusion and in a clinical setting in children with mental health diagnoses. During this time I scheduled groups focusing on physical movement, creative expression and leisure games. I was involved with Special Olympics basketball and soccer for kids and have taught swim lessons to several kids with autism. I also have years of intermittent babysitting. I most recently have worked as a recreational therapist where I create games and creative activities for patients to have the best quality of life. I love arts and crafts, animals, fitness, games and I am a certified yoga instructor!
