About Harriet

Hi! I'm Harriet, I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2019 with a BFA in studio arts. I am in graduate school at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities pursuing a masters in Early Childhood Special Education program with a certificate in Autism Spectrum disorders. I currently work at Nokomis Montessori North as a Licensed Early Childhood Special education teacher. I have spent the last three years work in contemporary art, agricultural management, and international environmental sustainability networks as an arts research specialist designing integrated educational programming focused on new perspectives from landscape and the environment. I use my energetic nature, patience and creativity to find the best ways to assist and support young people achieve their academic and creative interests through holistic pedagogy.
