About Harlen

I can help with organizational skills and assignment mapping, essay writing and completing most middle school homework in English and Social Studies. I used to run my own tutoring business, and now that I'm teaching and expecting a child, I'm back on the market for homework helping and tutoring K-12 students in English language-based written assignments and executive functioning. While my background is in School Counseling, I co-taught a senior level English elective course last semester, and I'm now completing my full transition into the English department with two English 9 and two English 10 sections. I'm also the Boys' JV Basketball Head Coach and Assistant Track & Field Coach in the winter and spring, respectively. I look forward to creating a steady working relationship with a family or two for the next few years, hoping to develop a symbiotic partnership that allows me to work flexible evening and weekend hours. I also have to charge for the drive, including gas/mileage.
