About Hannah

Hello! I'm currently volunteering with the International Language program, supervising and supporting English education for over 100 kids in Nicaragua. I've also volunteered previously with ILP, in the Dominican Republic working with kids ages 2-13. I'll be returning home beginning of May and moving to Reno with my husband, Demetri. We just got married in January after being best friends since high school. I love kids and especially working on helping them learn and grow. I've worked with a local organization in my hometown teaching a positive action class for children aged 8-16 in our community center as well as a local elementary school. I have experience with special education children after working in a SPED kindergarten class. I love working with young children because of the energy they always seem to have and the smiles and laughs they share! I'm the oldest of 6 children in my family and love being with them whenever possible. I'm fluent in Spanish, love cooking and swimming!
