About Hannah

I am a current elementary education student at Appalachian State University. I have a concentration of math, science and technology and love to volunteer teaching kiddos while in Boone. I have also worked at my local YMCA for two summers in a row as a summer camp counselor. While being a summer camp counselor, I was in charge of over 15 kids at a time. I had to create activities on the spot, and ensure that all children were safe. Along with this, I also worked at an afterschool program through my school for two years. Upon being an afterschool camp counselor I had to assist in homework, create activities, and ensure that all children were safe. I am CPR certified as well as certified in psychological first aid. Outgoing, adventurous, and friendly I like working with kids because you tend to learn more from children than you ever will anyone else. In my spare time, I like to get active with friends!
