About Hannah

After my experience at Penn State University, I was lucky enough to become an 8th grade (and part-time 7th grade) English Language Arts, Social Studies and Reading Intervention Instructor at Galapagos Rockford Charter School. I found my passion and talent in educating, supporting, and leading students to becoming well-educated, productive and self-fulfilled members of society. I will be returning to school to attain my MAT, which is why I am not going to be a classroom instructor this year. My strongest attributes are positivity, acceptance, and compassion. I strongly believe that books can be a great way to not only transform one's self but also to transform one's relationships and communities. It would be an honor to share my love of the power of books and reading with your child. I promise to meet and accept your child where they are, hold them accountable, and work with them to help them feel confident in growing into a more successful student and self-fulfilled person.
